PatchesThe sublimation process in the clothing industry is the transformation of printing inks into gas, with immediate fixation onto the fabric.
How does sublimation work?
The process uses inkjet printers/plotters and special sublimation paper. Sublimation occurs when the printed paper, passing through a calender machine, reaches a temperature of 200°C causing the ink to transition from a solid to a gaseous state and bond permanently to the fabric.
Advantages of Sublimation Print
- The sublimation process allows water-based inks (environmentally friendly and non-toxic) to permanently penetrate the fabric whilst maintaining the elasticity and breathability of the products. This valuable advantage makes it perfectly suited for sportswear needs.
- The customized product has no difference in texture between the colored and original fabric, making sublimation printing the only technique that ensures long-lasting durability while preventing color migration during washing.
- You can personalize everything without limits, applying colors, gradients, logos, and images to your products.

The Sublimation Colors
We print any CMYK color using sublimation with the highest possible accuracy. All our printers are calibrated to ensure consistent color reproduction. However, only the colors from our color palette are guaranteed to maintain perfect continuity for future reorders.
Fiorenzo Digital Teamwear offers the possibility to incorporate Fluo colors into all products. The available variants are:
